Serengeti Safari
Go on a Serengeti Safari and experience a soul-stirring feeling of space. Serengeti comes from the Masai word 'Siringit' meaning 'the place where the land runs on forever' and refers to the flat grassy plains which make up about a third of the park. It is these grasslands and savannahs that ensure that the area is jam-packed full of game.

There are animals here at any time of year, but from May to October, the area teems with life, including wildebeest, zebra, impala, warthogs, topi, gazelles and hyena. Lion, leopard, cheetah and caracal can be more easily spotted in the Kopjes, granite inselbergs scattered across the landscape.

The Serengeti is well known for the wildebeest migration, when every year two million animals move clockwise around this 14,763 sq km ecosystem in search of grazing and water. The predators follow the wildebeest and zebra closely and a Serengeti Safari is an ideal opportunity to view lions and other big cats.

Pin pointing and predicting the location of the wildebeest migration is challenging - but with a healthy resident population of animals, safari and game viewing within the Serengeti Game Reserve is great all year round.

Day 1Lake Manyara
Leave Arusha arriving by lunch time, proceed to Lake Manyara national park for afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at E Unoto Retreat. All meals included.

Day 2 Serengeti
After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the archeological site of the Leakey
family. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Mapito tented camp. All meals included.

Day 3 Serengeti
A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti
Sopa Lodge or Mapito tented camp. All meals included.

Day 4 Ngorongoro
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro, one of the natural wonders of the world. Meals and overnight at
Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 5 Ngorongoro crater
After early morning breakfast leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down
the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle, explore the crater before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Sopa
Lodge for dinner and overnight. All meals included.

Day 6 Tarangire
After breakfast drive to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge. All
meals included.

Day 7 Tarangire/Arusha
After breakfast go for a morning game viewing drive in Tarangire National Park. Return to lodge for lunch
before you depart for Arusha.

Day 1 Lake Manyara
Depart Arusha for lake Manyara arriving by lunchtime. Afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at E
Unoto Retreat. All meals included.

Day 2 Serengeti
After breakfast in Ngorongoro proceed to Serengeti National Park through Olduvai Gorge (an archeological
site, to see the earlier sign of mankind existence): en route game viewing with lunch boxes, late afternoon
game drive and thereafter dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Mapito tented camp. All meals
included.

Day 3 Serengeti.
Spend the day in Serengeti with two game drives, meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Mapito
tented camp. All meals included.

Day 4 Serengeti
Another day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives in search for wild game you might have
missed in the previous game drives. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Mapito tented camp.
All meals included.

Day 5 Ngorongoro
In the morning drive to one of the natural wonders of the world, the Ngorongoro crater. Dinner and overnight
at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater
Leave after breakfast with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour, explore the crater, enjoy picnic lunch at the
crater before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight. All meals included.

Day 7 Arusha
After breakfast drive to Arusha arriving by lunch time.

After breakfast drive to the vast Serengeti arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti sopa lodge/similar.

Day 5.Arusha

After breakfast drive back to Arusha with lunch at Impala Hotel.

Day 6.Arusha

7 Days/6Nights Tarangire / Lake Manyara/ Serengeti/ Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1 Tarangire National Park.
Morning drive to Tarangire National Park, situated in a vast valley offering beautiful views over savannah grassland. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive inside the Park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 2 Lake Manyara National Park.
Breakfast at lodge and depart for Lake Manyara National Park arriving for lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Drive 3 Serengeti National Reserve.
After breakfast at lodge you depart for the Vast Serengeti arriving for lunch at Serengeti Sopa/Serena lodge. Late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4 Serengeti National Reserve.
Full day with morning and afternoon game viewing in the Serengeti encompassing the largest migratory concentration of plains game in the world. All meals and overnight at Serengeti sopa/Serena lodge.

Day 5 Ngorongoro .
After morning game drive and breakfast continue to Olduvai gorge enroute to Ngorongoro. Lunch at Ngorongoro sopa/Serena lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater.
Breakfast and leave with picnic lunches as you descend 2000 ft to the crater floor for a full day of game viewing amongst the panopoly of wildlife. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the crater floor. Ascend back to Ngorongoro sopa/Serena lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Arusha.
After breakfast, return to Arusha, arriving for lunch at Impala Hotel/Similar.


7 Days Serengeti Lodge Safaris

Day 01: ARUSHA
On arrival at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro Airport, met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE.

Day 02: ARUSHA - SERENGETI
Breakfast and transfer to Arusha airport for regular flight to Serengeti at 0845hrs. Arrive at Serengeti airstrip and transferred to a camp. Afternoon game drive. Lunch, dinner and overnight at GRUMETI CAMP/KIRAWIRA SERENA TENTED CAMP.

Day 03: SERENGETI
Full day of safari. Full board at GRUMETI CAMP/KIRAWIRA SERENA TENTED CAMP.

Day 04: FLY SERENGETI - LAKE MANYARA
Breakfast and transfer to airport for a regular to Manyara at 1040hrs. Arrive at 1145hrs and transfer to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Lunch, dinner and overnight at LAKE MANYARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE.

Day 05: LAKE MANYARA - NGORONGORO CRATER
Dawn game drive. Breakfast and depart by road for Ngorongoro. Lunch at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight at NGORONGORO CRATER LODGE.

Day 06: NGORONGORO CRATER
After an early breakfast embark on a full day Crater tour with picnic lunch. Late afternoon ascent to the Crater rim for dinner and overnight at NGORONGORO CRATER LODGE.

Day 07: NGORONGORO CRATER - LAKE MANYARA-FLY ARUSHA AND DEPART
Breakfast at the lodge and transfer back to Manyara airstrip for regular departure flight to Arusha at 1200hrs. Arrive Arusha airport at 1230hrs and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch. (use of room excluded). Later transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for international departure flight.
