Day 01: Arusha
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by
your driver/guide and transferred to New Arusha
Hotel. Lunch on own arrangements and the rest of
the afternoon at leisure or you can take up
optional activities available at the Hotel
offered on request and payable direct.
Spend one night at the New Arusha Hotel in a
twin bedded room. Accommodation is on a bed and
breakfast basis.
Day 02: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked by your
driver/guide and depart for the drive to Lake
Manyara National Park. Arrive in good time for
lunch at your lodge. Later in the afternoon
depart for a game drive through its Mahogany
forest; marsh, grass and scrubland, which are
home to over 350 species of birds that populate
this magnificent, tangle of vegetation. The park
is famous for the tree-climbing lions that
inhabit its forests. Return to the lodge at
sunset.
Spend one night at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge
in a twin bedded room. Accommodation is on a
full board basis.
Day 03 & 04: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at the Lake Manyara lodge, this morning you
drive to Africa's most famous park - the
Serengeti arriving in time for lunch at your
lodge. You have two full days to explore its
5,600 sq. miles. You may see cheetah, giraffe,
lion, leopard, elephant - the list is endless.
And each year it is the scene of the great
migration where millions of wildebeest and zebra
make their annual trek in search of fresh grass.
Serengeti National Park is the Africa most of us
have seen on television. Many National
Geographic specials have been filmed here.
Now you can see first hand why so many
naturalists and photographers are drawn to this
place.
Spend two nights at the Serengeti Serena Lodge
in a twin bedded room. Accommodation is on a
full board basis.
Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart with a game drive en
route to Ngorongoro Conservation area. Arrive in
time for lunch at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Later, depart for an afternoon game drive
returning to the lodge at sunset.
Spend one night at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
in a twin bedded room. Accommodation is on a
full board basis.
Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater
After early breakfast, depart for a half-day
game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro's
caldera shelters the most beautiful wildlife
haven left on earth. The Maasai and their cattle
co-exist with the wildlife in this area, and
visitors are able to appreciate this ancient
interplay between wildlife and man. Interpretive
game drives through the emerald plains and
forests of the crater floor engender guests with
a respect for the people wildlife of this world
wonder. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the

Day 07: Arusha
After breakfast depart for the drive back to
Arusha. Arrive in time for lunch on own
arrangements and later, you will be transferred
to the airport for your outbound flight

Tarangire Lodge Safari
Day 1: Serengeti National Park
In the afternoon you will fly straight from
Arusha to the Serengeti, arriving in time for an
afternoon game drive. Catching the Great
Migration in the Serengeti is a spectacular
sight, and if you time your safari right, you
could witness the millions of wildebeest surging
up the plains in search of fresh grazing land.
You will stay at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge for 2
nights on a full board basis.

Day 2 : Serengeti National Park
Today is your 2nd day on safari and you will
have both a morning and afternoon game drive
through the Serengeti to explore the wildlife in
the great open plains.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater & Olduvai Gorge (Approx
3hr drive)
After enjoying your breakfast you drive via
Olduvai Gorge to Ngorongoro Crater, with a
picnic lunch en route. Discover the
archaeological history at Olduvai before driving
to your accommodation at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Quite possibly the most famous of all Africa’s
conservation areas, this is one of the places in
Africa where you stand a very good chance of
seeing the Big 5. Spend 2 nights at the
Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on a full board basis,
where the high altitude of the Crater Rim will
ensure you sleep well.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, our Essential Northern Circuit
safari has allocated a full day for game viewing
in the crater with a picnic lunch. The crater is
rich in wildlife and the day will be filled with
the sights & sounds of the wild echoing within
the crater walls.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park (Approx 2hr
drive)
This morning you drive to Lake Manyara.
Activities here include a walk around the rim of
the Great Rift Valley, escorted by a Masai
guide. Lunch is followed by a game drive in this
park famous for its herds of elephants & huge
variety of birds. The Lake Manyara forest is the
place to see leopard, while lions hunt on the
grassy shores of the lake. You will be staying
at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge on a
full board basis.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park (Approx 2hr15min
drive)
After breakfast you leave Lake Manyara and drive
to Tarangire. In the afternoon you are taken on
a game drive through the park. Many of the
animals congregate around the only source of
permanent water in the park, the Tarangire
River. This is the best place in Tanzania to see
enormous herds of elephant - up to 300 at a
time. Stay overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge
on a full board basis.

Day 7: Day of Departure (Approx 2hr30min drive)
You leave for Arusha after breakfast, arriving
in the late morning; bringing this safari
adventure to a close.
