Aberdares Safari
An Aberdares Safari offers you something quite unique: with a mountain range running through the Aberdares you'll find moorland, ice-cold streams and thick forests.

Despite its altitude and thick vegetation the Aberdares is not without its safari attractions and is home to most of Kenya 's wildlife, including the endangered Black Rhino.

As the Aberdares mountain range slopes off to the east you'll find the well-known safari lodges, The Ark and Treetops. These lodges are also one of the main attractions of the Aberdares as both are built above the ground beside floodlit waterholes with salt licks. Elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard and bushbuck are regular visitors to the waterholes at night.

This area was put on the tourist map in 1950 when Princess Elizabeth became Queen of England while she was on safari in the Aberdares.

2 Days/1Night Tree Hotel

Day 01: NAIROBI - TREETOPS
On arrival, you will be met and greeted at the Airport (morning flight) by one of our customer service representative or picked from you Nairobi Hotel. From here we shall drive to your base hotel OUTSPAN COUNTRY CLUB for lunch.

After lunch we leave Outspan Country Club for the ten miles drive to the famous TREETOPS LODGE located in the heart of Aberdares National Park. Treetops lodge, which started out as a two-room tree house in 1932, is the original "tree hotel" legendary for its royal connection. A young princess (Elizabeth) climbed the tree to spend a night here, and woke up the following morning as Queen Elizabeth II Queen of England after her father King George IV had died during the night. The 50-room lodge, which rises straight out of the ground on stilts, has four decks and a rooftop-viewing platform solely dedicated to Game (wildlife) viewing. Throughout the day and night, forest animals visit the waterholes and saltlick ensuring you many exciting moments, this coupled with its rich history, comfort, location, and first class customer service has made the lodge a hot spot for the rich, famous, fashionable, and the globe trotters. Dinner & overnight at TREETOPS LODGE (BLD).

Day 02: TREETOPS - NAIROBI
Soon after breakfast you will be transferred to your base hotel OUTSPAN COUNTRY CLUB where your waiting driver guide will drive you back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon.

- Accommodation as stated. Lodges on fullboard basis.
- All park entrance fees
- Services of a tour guide cum driver and tour manager

3 Days Samburu - Shaba Lodge Safaris - Aberdares Safaris

Day 01: Nairobi -Samburu - Shaba
At 07.30hrs, collected from your Nairobi hotel and commence drive to Samburu National Reserve.
Lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon game viewing drive.
Dinner and overnight at SAMBURU LODGE/SAROVA SHABA LODGE.

Day 02: Samburu - Shaba-Abedares
Early morning game drive, prior to breakfast at the Lodge. Morning return drive to the Aberdares area, arriving in time for lunch at the Outspan Hotel / Aberdare Country Club. Afternoon transfer to Aberdare National Park for a night of game viewing, from the Lodge precincts.
Dinner & overnight at The TREETOPS / ARK.

Day 03: Aberdares - Nairobi
From Ark – Breakfast at return transfer to Aberdare Country Club.
From Treetops - Return to Outspan Hotel for breakfast.
Drive back to Nairobi by noon.

10 days Samburu, Aberdares, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo West, Mombasa

Day :1 Nairobi
You are met on arrival at the airport, greeted and transferred to Fairview hotel for Dinner and Breakfast.

Day 2:Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Samburu, cross equator and proceed to the rugged semi-desert region. Samburu hosts some of the species of game that are rarely found elsewhere. These are somali ostrich, grevy zebra, baisy oryx among others. Arrive in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Shaba lodge/similar.

Day3: Samburu;
Full day in Samburu see leopard and other cats, grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, elephant, greater kudu, long-neck gerenuk, Beisa oryx, somali ostrich and the vulturine guinea fowl among others. Morning and afternoon game drive is taken. Meals and overnight at Samburu Shaba lodge/Similar.

Day 4: Aberdares National Park;
After breakfast proceed to Aberdares which is within the equator line with dense forests which harbor lots of elephants, rhino, leopards, bush buck, elusive Bongo or giant forest hog. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Mountain lodge/Similar.

Day 5:Maasai Mara;
Depart Aberadares after breakfast and move to famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. It has great herds of wildlife, arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova lodge.

Day 6: Maasai Mara;
Full day with morning and afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at Mara Sarova lodge.

Day7: Amboseli;
Pre-breakfast game drive then departs for Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch. Amboseli is at the foot of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Late afternoon game drive is taken. Amboseli has one of the best Ecosystems in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge.

Day 8:Amboseli;
Full day in this photogenic park. Two game drives. Meals and overnight at Oltukai lodge/similar.

Day 9:Tsavo West;
Proceed to Tsavo West National park. View game enroute arrive in time for lunch at Shaitani Lava Flow. Visit the Mzima Springs to view hippos, crocodiles and variety of fish. Dinner and overnight at Kilanguni lodge

Day 10: Tsavo West-Nairobi;
Pre-breakfast game drives, after breakfast proceed to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and thereafter depart to the airport to take home flight
