5 DAYS LAKE NAKURU/MASAI MARA


Day 01
0930hrs depart from National Museum or city center based Hotel/office for a journey south along the floor of the great rift for Lake Nakuru to arrive by lunchtime. You will have an opportunity to visit the hyrax hill and Kariandusi museum. Afternoon game drives at the pink lake famous for the pink flamingoes, leopard, and black and white rhino, buffalo e.t.c. Dinner and overnight at a local budget Hotel/camp.

Day 02
Depart after breakfast for Maasai Mara climbing the western walls entering the Hemmingway’s country ‘Serengeti Plains’. You will have a chance to visit Narok museum to learn the Maasai tribe history. Arrive in time for lunch. 4pm Game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Oltome camp. You will have a chance of seeing the famous Mau Narok Town, Maasai town.

Day 03
A full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains’ game, black maned lion, leopard and cheetah, but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 04
Same as Day 03 but with a 3 hours walk to the Maasai hills.

Day 05
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast to arrive.
 

Safari cost Includes:

All Park entrance fees
Game drives as mentioned above accompanied by our professional fluent English-speaking driver cum guide
Comfortable transport in our 9 seater safari vehicles with open hatch-roofs and VHF radio fitted
All camping fees
All camping equipment (except sleeping bags which we have available for hire on request) 
Three delicious meals per day i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst on safari, prepared and served by our cook on open woodfires.
